Waterproof Match Case MATCHCAP XL™ Exotac®

Exotac MATCHCAP XL is almost indestructible waterproof match case for storing matches and other necessities that must not get wet. An integral red-phosphorus striker is not only waterproof but it is also protected from rubbing against the matches thanks to its location inside the o-ring sealed cap.

Match striker 

MATCHCAP XL features phosphorus safety-match striker located inside the cap, but at the same time out of the reach of matches. Because it is on the outside of the capsule, the stored matches won't rub on it. Moreover, the capsule is sealed with an o-ring that prevents water and moisture intrusion.

„Strike-anywhere“ striker 

Some of the outdoor matches are so called „strike-anywhere“ matches. But a sufficiently dry surface is not always available and that is why the sandpaper pad on the bottom of MATCHCAP XL is water-resistant and great when everything else is too wet to use as a striking surface.

Waterproof 

This match case is waterproof – matches and strikers won´t work when wet so the capsule is sealed with an o-ring that prevents water and moisture intrusion at depths of 5 metres.

Anodized aluminium body 

The MATCHCAP XL body is CNC machined, in the USA, where the high-grade 6061 aluminium also comes from and then anodized for protection in one of four signature Exotac colors.

Match case Exotac MATCHCAP XL fits even the ever popular UCO Stormproof Match. The large capsule fits matches up to 74 mm length as well as your basic kitchen match and everything in between.
