Eberlestock® Gunrunner

The Gunrunner pack is a pure hunters' pack with an integrated scabbard for your hunting rifle or shotgun. The pack is great for multiple-day hikes, it offers sufficient space and is literally covered with MOLLE compatible webbing, so you can expand it and organize it according to your requirements. In total, the pack features 5 different pockets and compartments for guns.

Purposeful pocket distribution

The Gunrunner does not have too many pockets the user may get lost at, its design is simple and functional. In the lid is a covered zip through which you access a spacious compartment to stash your small accessories and other things you need to have at hand. The lid is tiltable, closed with a sturdy buckle, under the lid is a compression collar to prevent the interior from getting wet or dirty.

Old-school top loading

The Gunrunner features the old school top loading. Inside the main compartment is a hydration bladder pocket with a hook. The pocket can accommodate a 2 to 2.5l bladder. On the front of the pack is a flat open pocket for keeping the map, documents, etc. On the sides are two spacious open pockets for water bottles and above them are several rows of MOLLE webbing. The bottom flap and the pack's lid are connected with a buckle secure fixing strap. On the bottom flap and the lid are again several rows of MOLLE compatible webbing. The flap and the bottom of the pack make yet another storage space to stash for example your jacket. Fast and quality opening is ensured by massive zips with over-sized pulls.

Integrated rifle scabbard

The patented integrated scabbard system allows you to carry your hunting rifles comfortably without using your hands. The scabbard is located right next to the back panel for efficient distribution of weight. If you do not carry any gun, the space can be compressed using compression straps which also serve as stabilization straps, the bottom of the scabbard can be rolled up and secured with a buckle.

Elaborate back system

Just like all other Eberlestock backpacks, the Gunrunner is also equipped with quality shoulder straps, which are sufficiently padded yet breathable due to the used 3D mesh material. In addition to that, the shoulder straps may be compressed using stabilization straps so as to adjust the distribution of weight and pressure on the shoulders. A big plus of the back system is its individual adjustability based on the height of the user. The back padding is simply massive and the central channel leaves enough room for the air to circulate around the spine. The pack fits comfortably and offers good air circulation due to its quality padded back panel.

Straps and belts

On the shoulder straps are several additional loops for the attachment of some extra gear to include the hydration bladder tube to make sure it holds firmly in place. On the top, there is of course a reinforced carry handle. An elastic sternum strap adjustable in height will help you better distribute the carried load. On the waist belt are two rows of MOLLE compatible webbing, it is fastened with a plastic buckle just like the sternum strap. In case you do not need it, you can simply undo the velcro in the back panel and remove it. In the middle is a compression strap, by which you can compress and narrow the pack.
