A riflescope is an optical device, which attaches to a weapon instead of conventional sights and makes it easier to aim over longer distances by making the target look closer/bigger. This Vortex model allows a 7-fold zoom. It's actually a specially modified telescope with a crosshari. Ideal for tactical shooting, sport shooting and hunters.
The body of the riflescope is made of high-quality aluminium, used in the aerospace industry, which is anodinzed in black for greater resistance as well as for a more attractive look. Also because of this, the rifle scope is not a source of undesirable reflections that would give away the shooter to his enemies or the hunter to his game. Hard anodizing also enhances the resistance of both the surface and the whole riflescope to damage.
Adjusted lenses with full multi-coat provide excellent image quality due to extremely high light transmission. They thus provide optimal observational results. This state-of-the-art technology guarantees a perfectly clear image with high contrast, sharp contours and natural color resolution. Antireflective treatment is applied to external lenses that come into contact with air.
Using the scope is really simple. With the rotating ring you regulate the focus exactly for your eye. There is another ring on the head of the rifle scope (in front of the eyepiece) to set the required magnification. The rifle range is the so-called stack (or steeple, if you prefer) with a control wheel. Right stack / wheel adjusts side correction (windage) and upper stack / wheel controls height correction (elevation). The default setting, the so-called zero setting, is usually done at 100 yd, or about 91.4 m, the distance of the 200 yd object is used for long-range shooting, or about 182.8 m. After the required setting of both corrections with the help of bolts turn the wheels zero to the mark, which is useful for a quick return to your default setting if you need to make adjustments in the field sometime.
Reticle or crosshair bears the designation V-Plex (MOA). Its use is detailed in the gun manual. There is no crosshair illumination option for this model. This model represents a shooting scope in the second focal plane, i.e. the cross size does not change with the magnification set, the measuring elements have an appropriate size at maximum magnification.
It's waterproof and impact proof, plus filled with nitrogen and sealed with "o" rings, so it won't leak or fog in. Special sealing technology protects high-end optics from outside influences. No dust, no dirt and no moisture can penetrate the rifle scope and cause damage and/or defects in the supplied image.
Eye relief, the maximum eye distance from the output lens, in which the shooter can still see the entire field of view of the rifle range, is sufficient to eliminate possible injuries from the recoil of the shot.
The rifle scope has a fixed parallax correction at 100 yd, about 91.4 m, showing very little parallax, which has minimal effect on the device performance.
Important: Correct assembly is essential for the proper functioning of the sight. Follow instructions in the manual.
