Eberlestock® Switchblade

The Switchblade is a light weight and compact one-day pack with several MOLLE compatible webbing panels, the pack can be attached to the F1 or M1 load bearing frames from Eberlestock. Due to its size and durability is the pack suitable for everyday use and short hiking trips. The pack comes in nylon with ripstop finish.

Spacious main compartment

The pack features a large main compartment accessed through a tiltable lid covered with reduced MOLLE webbing and velcro panel to place your patch. Inside the lid is an integrated flat pocket accessible from one side. The pack closes with a two-way zip with oversized pulls for easier manipulation in the dark or with gloves. At the top is a small pocket, again featuring reduced MOLLE webbing for equipment you need to have at hand, for example a first aid kit, jacket etc., the pocket also features an internal organizer. On the sides are standard elastic bottom pockets for water bottles, several rows of MOLLE webbing and flat zippered side pockets suitable for stashing your documents, maps, etc.. The main compartment provides great organization. On one side, there is a hydration bladder sleeve designed for a 2l bladder by Source Tactical, on the opposite side are several smaller pockets. The lid has on the inside several rows of MOLLE webbing and the rest of the surface is made from nylex, which is the velcro counterpart, so you can organize it according to your needs. The back of the main compartment features an organizer consisting of two pockets, the front one is again equipped with MOLLE webbing and nylex.

Elaborate back system

Just like all other Eberlestock backpacks, the Switchblade is also equipped with quality shoulder straps, which are sufficiently padded yet breathable due to the used 3D mesh material. Additionally, the shoulder straps may be compressed using stabilization straps so as to adjust the distribution of weight and pressure on the shoulders. A big plus of the back system is its individual adjustability based on the height of the user. The straps can also be detached completely to mount the pack on the F1 or M1 load bearing frames using the three loops on the sides of the pack. The back padding is simply massive and the central channel leaves enough room for the air to circulate around the spine. The pack fits comfortably even during long hikes. The pack's structure is not reinforced, only in the central part of the back panel there is a plastic support to keep the back rigid. On the shoulder straps are several additional loops for the attachment of additional gear. On the top of the pack is a massive carry handle. An elastic sternum strap adjustable in height will help you better distribute the carried load. The Switchblade does not come with a waist belt, but in the back padding there is a tunnel though which you can pull any belt based on your needs.

Concealed magnetic pouch

In the back panel you find a hiddenpouch with silent magnetic closure accessible from either side. Here you can hide a duty-size pistol.

On the sides of the pack are rows of full fat MOLLE webbing that will allow you to attach additional equipment. On tiltable lids, there are panels with reduced webbing.
