Polish company Templar's Gear's 4th generation ROC ballistic side panel (or sash or cummerbund if you prefer) is familiar from the manufacturer's Cataphract and Koursores vests. Now with its help you can complement and improve any tactical vest or plate carrier for protection against shrapnel and pistol calibers, even for side protection.
This side panel is also ideal for expanding the size of an existing vest, for example when you want to wear bulkier winter clothes under the vest. Adjustment takes place using ROC buckles, which then always fit the same, and putting on or taking off the side plate is easy and fast.
Available in three sizes, Templar's Gear's Ballistic Side Panel features a versatile MOLLE/PALS webbing on the outside for attaching additional holsters, pouches, and a variety of tactical gear. For size M it is 5 columns, for size L 6 and finally for size XL 7 columns of webbing. In addition, this side panel is compatible with soft armor plates from the Danish company Protection Group.
On the inside, this side panel is made from Templar's Gear's 3D molded Gambeson laminate, which allows for air circulation and a comfortable fit. Foxdura 500D (Baucent laminate) and stretch strap (Mil-Spec) are used as the main material.
The Templar's Gear side plate is universally compatible with all vests and plate carriers, where the cummerbund fastens at the front with either ROC buckles (opening direction upwards) or Velcro, and then with Velcro at the back. Of course, a crafty handyman can adapt the hook-and-loop fastener.
