Since the brand and company Templar’s Gear does not use knives for cutting textile but laser cutters, they do not have to use a textile knitting style called “Webbing” (otherwise strong fabric wound as a flat strip, or occasionally a tubular variable profile, used instead of string – for example, in racing cars, it is used to secure a 50 mm long Nylon strip seatbelt). Everything is replaced with laser-cut and MOLLE compatible semi-finished products, which as a final product are lightweight and yet do not lose their functionality.

The technique of "Openwork design" (“Openwork” is an art term and refers to items made by punching out of another material – for example in leather, etc.) requires a fiber that is extremely durable on one side and not heavy on the other.
