The Ganzo Survival G8012 fixed blade knife is a typical expedition model with a modern design and a fixed blade suitable for special tasks.
Quality stainless steel 7Cr17 steel in combination with a 5 mm thick blade with a full edge clearly define what the new Ganzo knife was created for. Chopping and splitting wood is no problem for it, and it can handle meat slicing or emergency operations just as well. The blade with a length of over 11 cm provides sufficient comfort during use. An interesting feature is that the blade is fully removable from the handle - just unscrew the rear nut. It is also worth mentioning the special profile on the upper edge of the blade, prepared for the use of flint.
The profiled handle made of durable ABS plastic has a non-slip texture and guarantees a comfortable and secure grip. At the end you will find a hole for a hanging cord and a hardened tip for breaking the glass in emergency situations. The fact that the handle can be completely removed from the knife contributes to easy cleaning of the knife.
The knife comes with a case made of ABS plastic in combination with Cordura. In addition to allowing comfortable carrying of the knife on the belt, it hides another surprise. A magnesium flint is attached to the outside of the sheath, which you can use to start a fire or light a gas stove. On the lower edge of the case there is a cutter for safety belts, straps or ropes. On the back of the case there is a practical sharpener with a diamond coating, protected by Velcro.
