The Swedish company Fjällräven (translated as “polar fox”) is today a legendary manufacturer of backpacks, clothing and other outdoor equipment. The result of the long development of the brand is also the Sweater Logo M sweatshirt with a classic round neckline, which belongs to the Övik clothing line.
This unique sweatshirt is minimalist at first glance, and that’s how it should be – after all, the entire Scandinavian design is minimalist. The purely utilitarian design of this piece of clothing is “disrupted” perhaps only by the retro logo across the chest, which Fjällräven has been using since 1960.
The Fjällräven Sweater Logo M sweatshirt is made from 100% organic cotton and has a softly brushed reverse side. Additionally, it is a sturdy Felpa knit. Both the round neckline and the hem at the bottom and sleeve cuffs are ribbed.
From the past, we know that some clothing and equipment can harm health due to their chemical treatments. This is not the case with Fjällräven Sweater Logo M 1960 sweatshirts, as they do not, for example, contain PFAS, which are perfluorinated and polyfluorinated substances widely used in the 2nd half of the 20th century.
Fjällräven clothing is more sustainable than ever before. As already mentioned, the Fjällräven Sweater Logo M 1960 sweatshirt is made from organic cotton, which is certainly a pleasant bonus. The manufacturer speaks of so-called “sustainability through long-lasting durability,” which should be a standard for quality products regardless of the specific product.
