Eberlestock® Ultralight Vapor V2 5000 supplementary backpack

The Ultralight Vapor 5000 additional backpack is a larger version of the ultralight backpacks from the Eberlestock workshop and is part of the EMOD series. The 5000 has all the same great features as the 2500, but the difference is the larger size and roll top. The backpack holds a total of 5,000 cubic inches (82 liters). Several color versions are available for different target environments.

Reliable Mainframe System

The Vapor range of backpacks is designed specifically for the Mainframe system, making it a completely unique and extremely lightweight system (Mainframe sold separately). The backpack weighs less than a kilogram.

Durable and flexible material

The center front panel is made of 140D bidirectional stretch material. The camouflage variants of the backpack are made of ripstop material reinforced with 450D aramid, in contrast, the plain variants have a ripstop construction of 500D nylon.

EMOD multi-purpose lid

Both variants of the backpack (2500 and 5000) are fully compatible with the EMOD lid (which is sold separately), which attaches to the Vapor and Mainframe systems in 4 places with gatekeeper quick-release buckles. Thanks to the EMOD lid, you can increase the capacity of the Vapor backpack and thus expand your equipment with additional items. In addition, you can use the lid to compress objects between the lid and the upper part of the backpack.

Useful elements

The exterior features include extended stretch pockets that can store things like water bottles, binoculars, tripods and other necessary equipment. The middle panel forms a zippered pocket for items you need to keep close at hand. Removable 25mm Duraflex HD buckles then allow the pack to expand, providing additional space for carrying bags and other heavy loads close to your center of gravity.
