Wisport® Crafter 30 backpack

The Crafter military backpack with a capacity of 30 liters perfectly complements the portfolio of the Polish backpack manufacturer Wisport – it offers an alternative to the previous larger model (Crafter 55), which is the perfect solution for one to two-day outdoor hikes.

For different purposes

You can use the Wisport Crafter 30 backpack on various occasions. In addition to professional purposes, it is also suitable for camping and weekend trips, hiking or cycling. On the front side of the backpack is embroidered the word Crafter, above it you will find a panel with Velcro for attaching your favorite patch, such as a morale patch.

Two lids right away

The main feature of the backpack is its voluminous main compartment, which can be accessed through two lids that are closed with a two-way zipper. One lid is classically located on the upper side, the other is in the front. Thanks to this, you can quickly access all the necessary equipment stored inside, without having to rummage through the entire contents of the backpack. A durable, two-way branded zipper covered with a baffle allows the backpack to be opened only on one side.

Ready to hydrate

On the back inside the main compartment there is a pocket with an open upper entrance suitable for placing a hydration pack and above it in the middle there is a loop for fixing it. There is also a drinking tube outlet which is reversible and opens at the back of the top handle. Two compression straps with quick release are sewn on the back of the chamber. The straps are adjustable and long enough to attach larger gear or equipment.

Cleverly arranged interior space

There is a zippered mesh pocket on the inside of the front lid of the main compartment. The same pocket is also on the underside of the top lid. A zippered fabric pocket is suspended inside the main compartment under the top lid.

Waterproof raincoat

The practical Wisport Crafter 30 backpack is also supplied with a waterproof raincoat, which will help protect the backpack and its contents in the event of rain or snow. This raincoat is hidden inside the backpack and its weight and volume are absolutely minimal, so when you don't need it right now, you won't even know you have it with you.

More handles

At the top of the back, the backpack is equipped with a strong fabric handle for carrying in the hand, but you can also use it, for example, when dragging a wounded person to safety or when crossing a ford. Another handle is located in the front at the bottom, two handles are at the bottom on the sides and two on the back on the sides – these are even rubberized.

Increased carrying capacity

The carrying capacity of the backpack is increased by two compression straps on its sides with plastic quick-release buckles for adjusting its volume. At the same time, they are used to attach other equipment that does not fit in the backpack and needs to be on hand. "D" rings on the outside of the backpack are also used to attach other equipment, and external zippered pockets are sewn onto the top lid.

MOLLE compatible binding

The Wisport Crafter 30 backpack can also be used as a tactical backpack, as it is equipped with MOLLE compatible binding on both sides for attaching other compatible equipment. For example, Wisport Raccoon pockets with a volume of 9 liters, which further increase the capacity of the backpack. In the front part of the backpack, we can also find strong fabric straps with a plastic quick-release buckle or an elastic cord with a quick-release brake for attaching a sleeping bag, mat or perhaps a folded jacket.

Click, customize and go

Padded shoulder straps with mesh on the inside, chest strap and waist belt are fitted with branded and high quality plastic buckles and quick release buckles. All straps are adjustable in length, the chest strap can also be adjusted in height.

The FAS carrier system

The FAS carrier system (FAS = Full Adjustable System) is the most versatile, fully adjustable and most comfortable carrier and support system. This system consists of slats made of a special durable aluminum alloy, integrated in the rigid back part of the backpack adjacent to the user's back. The fixed back part of the backpack forms a kind of barrier between the contents of the backpack and the user's back.

Flexible height adjustment

This barrier not only prevents back pain from poorly packed cans, but also gives the backpack its shape and holds its individual elements in the correct position. The straps can move up and down indefinitely, allowing the backpack to be adjusted to the height of each user. This setting can be done with an unpacked backpack on the back, but of course it can also be adjusted while walking, without having to take off the backpack.

Removable waist belt

A further increase in the adjustment range is made possible by the special design of the waist belt. It is not permanently attached to the backpack and can be detached very easily. The waist belt can be fastened turned by 180°, and due to the fact that it is asymmetrical, the length of the back increases by several centimeters. The backpack can also be used without this belt.

Improved air circulation

All components of the backpack that are in direct contact with the user's body are ergonomically shaped and are covered with a spatial grid / mesh AIR NET, which allows air to circulate and thus ventilate the backpack user's back and remove sweat and moisture, especially during longer trips.

High stability of the backpack

Thanks to the specific attachment of the belts, thanks to the waist belt and thanks to the use of stabilization straps, the FAS ensures high stability of the backpack and prevents it from wobbling while walking. This system can also compensate for the uneven distribution of the contents as well as the dynamic load that occurs, for example, when climbing or skiing. In addition, the system allows the transfer of up to 70% to 80% of the load to the user's hips. The system enables full adjustment and load transfer not only according to the height of the figure and according to the individual requirements of the user, but also depending on the terrain and other conditions in which the user moves.

The FAS variant used on this backpack

The simplified FAS Ergonomic has a continuous adjustment of the suspension height, has a waist belt shorter and smaller than in the FAS Plus systems, sewn firmly. The harness and waist belt are covered with AIR NET ECO mesh. The molded shoulder straps have no reinforcement at the top.
