The Wisport military backpack®ZipperFox40 is the newest addition to the Wisport® family of survival and military backpacks.It is a version derived from the proven SilverFox 30 concept,, but this backpack is slightly larger and more versatile.It is ideal for camping and day-to-day excursions, hiking or cycling as well as long mountain climbing.It will also be used for hunting.The ZipperFox represents high functionality and innovative technologies, is extremely light and has a durable design.ZipperFox serves well under virtually all conditions, no matter what the weather.
At the bottom, the backpack has the Wisport® logo embroidered on it and the words ZipperFox embroidered on it. At the front is a Velcro box to attach an ID tag or a favorite patch.
The essential feature of this unique backpack is the zippered main chamber in the shape of an inverted U.This allows quick and easy access to the contents of the main chamber from both the top and side sides.
The backpack is large enough to hold everything you need without having to rummage through the massive main space in search of gear.A durable, two-way designer zip, allows the backpack to be opened at the top or on one side.The zipper is fitted with a paracord for easy grip, even in gloves.The zipper is covered on both sides.
SAS =Semi Adjustable System
The SAS carrier system®is a comfortable carrier system that allows partial adjustment.
This system consists of straps and belts made of a special durable aluminium alloy, integrated in a rigid backpack attached to the wearer's back, and a waist belt of unique design.
The setting allows for special waist belt design.This is not permanently connected to the backpack and can be removed very easily.The waist belt can be clipped 180° rotated and this increases the back length by about 7 cm due to the asymmetry.The backpack can also be used without this belt.
Another important indicator is good backpack stability.With tightly sewn ergonomically shaped straps, the backpack system provides excellent stability.This system can also compensate for the uneven distribution of content, as well as the dynamic loads generated by, for example, climbing or skiing.
All backpack components that are in direct contact with the user's body are ergonomically shaped and are covered with a spatial grid / AIR NET and AIR MESH netting that allows air to circulate and thus ventilate the backpack user's back and remove sweat and moisture, especially by longer journeys.
Shoulder straps, chest strap and hip belt are fitted with plastic buckles.
ZipperFox comes with a newly designed SAS® carrier system that now includes an easy-to-remove, centrally located aluminum frame/belt.
In addition, this very practical backpack comes with a waterproof raincoat, which will protect the backpack and its contents from rain or snow and is hidden inside easily accessible Velcro-fastened lower chamber.
ZipperFox is camelbag compatible, has a zip-fastened hydration bag compartment on the back. At the top, there is a hole on a picnic tube covered by a velcro-zipped lapel, and there are UTX Flex®pic tube holders on the shoulder straps.
The backpack is fitted with a solid fabric handle at the top of the back for carrying. It could be also used to drag the wounded to safety.
On both sides of the backpack are 2 compression straps with a plastic fastener to adjust its volume, which will also serve to attach other equipment that doesn't fit in the backpack or we need to keep it handy.This adds to the pack's carrying capacity.
On the front of the backpack we find 4 “D” rings to attach additional gear.
Capacity: 40 liters.
