Magpul Tactile Lock Plate Type 2 is an innovative improvement that allows the user to quickly and easily identify magazines with different ammunition using two raised tactile elements.

Easy differentiation

Two ridges that protrude through an opening at the bottom of the magazine are extended to an optimal height to ensure functionality even with gloves. This design provides the user the ability to quickly and confidently identify different magazines. Full functionality is retained when inserting the magazine into the weapon or holster, while maintaining all features of the PMAG Gen M3 magazine.

Minimal dnagging

The height of the elements remains tactilely pleasant and easily identifiable, while their low profile and rounded edges minimize the risk of snagging on gear or other objects.

Wide compatibility

Fits standard PMAG 10/20/30 AR/M4 GEN M3 magazines and PMAG AR 300 B GEN M3 magazines and retains the strength and performance characteristics of the GEN M3.
