This design provides the user with the ability to quickly and confidently identify different magazines. Full functionality is maintained even when the magazine is inserted into the weapon or holster. No other properties of the PMAG Gen M3 magazine are changed.

Minimal snagging

The height of the protrusion remains pleasantly tactile and easily identifiable, while the low profile and rounded edges minimize the risk of snagging on gear or other items.

Wide compatibility
