Holosun® SCS CZ P-10 open pistol micro reflex sight

The SCS CZ P-10 open pistol micro reflex sight from the traditional weapon optics manufacturer Holosun is designed for mounting on both short and long weapons (up to recoil equivalent to caliber 9.5×73 (.375 weatherby)), with the user not having to worry about any compromises. It is one of the most advanced reflex sights in the history of the Holosun brand, this time adapted for the CZ P-10 OR.

Solar-powered sight

This reflex sight is charged through a small integrated solar panel. This function was previously offered by some Holosun reflex sights, but the SCS models, including the one for the CZ-P10, include a new generation of the SOLAR-FAIL-SAFE system, which does not require any additional integrated battery. The internal recharging system also includes an accumulator that offers long life and works with the mentioned solar panel.

Accumulator is used only occasionally

Additionally, the integrated accumulator in this sight is used only occasionally. Under normal light conditions, the solar panel alone is sufficient to power the reticle. If you were to find yourself in poor light conditions for an extended period, the diode would start drawing power from the accumulator. However, the consumption is not high and is standardized at the level of microA. And when you need to replace the accumulator after years, it can be done easily and without unnecessary obstacles.

Reticle with automatic adjustment

Another interesting feature is the reticle, which automatically adjusts its illumination to the surrounding light. The reflex sight measures the light intensity itself and adjusts the reticle to the intensity of natural light and even an attached flashlight. It offers 12 brightness levels (2 for night vision). Regarding the reticle itself, it is green, and you can choose a 2 MOA dot or a 32 MOA circle, or a combination of both.

Low-profile base, compact design

An advantage of this open micro reflex sight from Holosun is also its low-profile base, which ensures compatibility of the reflex sight with fixed sights. Overall, this micro reflex sight is compact, but the manufacturer makes no compromises with the screen. It is sufficiently large (with dimensions of 1.47cm × 1.95cm) and also features aspheric glass with zero image distortion.

Direct mount for CZ P-10 OR

Direct mounting is another feature of the Holosun SCS-P10 GR micro reflex sight, meaning you can easily mount this sight on the slide of the CZ P-10 OR (Optics Ready), i.e., the version prepared for a reflex sight. For mounting on other guns, you need to purchase the appropriate RMS adapter (mounting is not included in the reflex sight package).

Advanced electronics

The reflex sight is equipped with advanced control electronics that can switch off the device (specifically its reticle) after a certain inactivity period and reactivate it with movement. Of course, you can also turn off the sight manually – the only difference is that in manual mode, you will need to turn it back on manually. The advantage is the memory of the last used reticle setting.

Updated control system

This reflex sight features an updated control system that includes a boost mode. This is for instances when you want to ignore the device's recommended brightness regulation and manually increase the brightness by several levels. This increase in intensity will work for half an hour, after which it will automatically switch back to save accumulator. If the energy level is low, the reflex sight's reticle will start to blink.

Night vision compatibility

Most Holosun reflex sights are compatible with night vision systems. Specifically, the SCS sight can automatically set the mode for night vision in two intensity levels, as already mentioned above.

Quality material and optics

Last but not least, we must mention the quality of workmanship and the material used, predominantly aluminum alloy 7075 with a hard anodizing surface finish. The optics are also parallax-free with unlimited eye relief.
