Holosun® SCS Carry GR enclosed micro reflex sight

The enclosed micro reflex sight SCS-Carry GR from the traditional optics manufacturer Holosun is designed for mounting on short and long guns (up to a recoil equivalent to caliber 9.5×73 (.375 weatherby), and users do not need to worry about any compromises. Solar-recharged reflex sight

This reflex sight is charged via a small integrated solar panel. While some Holosun reflex sights previously offered this feature, the SCS-Carry GR model features a new generation of the SOLAR-FAIL-SAFE system, which does not require any additional integrated battery for its operation. The internal recharging system includes a battery that offers high lifespan and works with the solar panel.

The battery is used only occasionally

The integrated battery in this reflex sight is used only occasionally. Under standard light conditions, the solar panel alone is sufficient to power the reticle. If you find yourself in low-light conditions for an extended period, the diode will start drawing from the battery capacity. However, the draw is minimal and standardized at the microA level. If you need to replace the battery after years of use, it can be done easily without unnecessary obstacles.

Auto-adjusting reticle

Another interesting feature is the reticle which automatically adjusts to ambient light. The reflex sight measures the light intensity and adjusts the reticle accordingly, whether it's natural light or an attached flashlight. It offers 12 brightness levels (2 for night vision). The reticle itself is green, and you can choose between a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle or a combination of both.

Low-profile base, compact design

The advantage of this closed micro reflex sight from Holosun is also its low-profile base, ensuring compatibility with fixed sights. Overall, this micro reflex sight is compact, but the manufacturer makes no compromises regarding the screen. It is sufficiently large (measuring 1.47cm × 1.95cm) and features aspherical glass with zero image distortion.

Holosun-K mounting system

Another aspect of the Holosun SCS-Carry GR micro reflex sight is the Holosun-K mounting system (series 407/507K EPS CARRY), meaning you can easily mount this reflex sight on pistols prepared for an RMSc footprint, such as Hellcat H11, Glock 43 and 48, and others. A low-profile mounting plate is included in the package.

Advanced electronics

The reflex sight is equipped with advanced control electronics that can turn off the device (or its reticle) after a period of inactivity and then reactivate it with motion. You can also turn off the reflex sight manually. In that case, manual reactivation is required. A beneficial feature is the memory function of the last used reticle pattern.

Innovative control system

This reflex sight features an innovative control system that includes a boost mode. This is useful if you want to ignore the device's recommended brightness adjustment and manually increase the brightness level by several points. This intensity boost will function for half an hour before automatically reverting to save battery. When the battery is low, the reticle will start to blink.

Compatibility with night vision

Most Holosun models are compatible with night vision systems. Specifically, the SCS reflex sight can automatically set the night vision mode at two intensity levels, as mentioned above.
