The Swedish company Fjällräven (translated as “arctic fox”) is now a legendary manufacturer of backpacks, clothing and other outdoor equipment. The result of the brand's long-term development is also the stylish Vidda cap, which belongs to the Övik clothing range.
Fjällräven products are known for being minimalist, just like the entire Scandinavian design. And this cap is just as minimalist. The unicolor model with a stitched visor is only “disrupted” by the stylish leather Fjällräven logo on the front panels. The cap is suitable, for example, for hunting, but of course, you can wear it anytime, not just on hot summer days, both in nature and in the city.
Fjällräven clothing is more sustainable than ever before. The Fjällräven Vidda cap is made from G-1000 material, composed of organic cotton and recycled polyester, which is certainly a pleasant bonus. The manufacturer talks about so-called “sustainability through longevity.” Which should be the standard for quality products regardless of the specific product.
From past experience, we know that some clothing and equipment can even harm health with their chemical treatments. This is not the case with the Fjällräven Vidda cap, as it does not contain PFAS, which are perfluorinated and polyfluorinated substances widely used in the second half of the 20th century.
