The Swedish company Fjällräven (translated as "polar fox") is now a legendary manufacturer of backpacks, clothing and other outdoor equipment. The result of the brand's long development is the Kånken Hip Pack, which can be easily combined with the iconic backpack of the same name.
The backpacks and bags from Fjällräven, including the Kånken Hip Pack, may look modest and minimalist (as with all Scandinavian design), but don't be fooled by the first impression. This practical hip pack is ideal for carrying small items around the city or as an additional piece of luggage to the Kånken backpack or even Fjällräven trekking backpacks.
This daily-use bag is equipped with three pockets where you can organize the most essential items while remaining compact. It features an internal pocket with a key clip and two additional outer zippered pockets.
From the past, we know that some clothing and equipment can harm health due to their chemical treatments. This is not a concern with the Fjällräven Kånken Hip Pack, as it does not contain PFAS, which are perfluorinated and polyfluorinated substances widely used in the second half of the 20th century.
The main material used is vinylon F, which is long-lasting, easy to care for, and without which the even more famous Kånken backpack wouldn't be what it is. The material is flexible and durable, and the manufacturer says that although it was created by humans, it feels as if it came directly from nature.
