The Black Diamond Onsight 375 headlamp is a flashlight designed for active people who need weatherproof equipment for their hobbies. It is ideal for climbing or for hiking in the mountains.
The Onsight headlamp was developed after rigorous nighttime testing while climbing limestone monuments in Mexico. It is a special solution for climbers who remain on the wall even after sunset. Black Diamond listened to climbers' demands for simplicity and robustness and incorporated them into every aspect of this headlamp. With the highest waterproof rating of IP67, this light is fully waterproof and dustproof, so it won't mind if you get caught in the rain. In addition to climbing, the headlamp also offers excellent parameters for all other tourists and travelers.
At first glance, you will notice the dual-beam design, which offers two main lighting modes. The primary Climbing Mode was designed to illuminate holds or the path directly in front of you. Using a wide cone of bright light with a power of 300 lumens, it allows you to find another staple or support point. The secondary Route-Finder mode emits a strong, narrow beam with a maximum output of 375 lumens, which is great for discovering more distant belay points or routes.
Thanks to dual PowerTap technology, you can easily switch between Climbing and Route-Finder modes just by touching the right and left sides of the front cover. With the help of an elastic strap, the headlamp can be adapted to any user or placed on a helmet.
The Onsight headlamp is amazingly flexible and compatible with Dual-Fuel technology. It can therefore be powered by a BD 1800 rechargeable li-ion battery, or by three standard AAA batteries located in the battery box on top of the head.
Measured to ANSI FL 1 standard in laboratory conditions, using mentioned batteries, at a certain temperature and humidity. Values may vary depending on conditions, settings used or different brands of batteries.
