Wiley X® XL-1 Advanced Sunglasses

The XL-1 Advanced sunglasses are highly popular with armed forces as well as extreme athletes for their robustness and an above average protection of sight. They feature a U-shape design providing comfort and protection in rapid motion. They feature a great durability they have been successfully tested and certified on by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and conform to other norms and standards as well. Moreover, XL-1 are compatible with a special foam sealing to keep you safe from contamination, wind and sun glare. Your eyes will be this way well protected. The sealing also ensures good ventilation to prevent fogging. The glasses are rx insert compatible. They are supplied with two sets of lenses.

Clear lenses are great for less shiny days with poorer visibility, they provide protection from the UV radiation and reflections with no colour distortion. They feature a great light transmittance of 89 % and are ideal to protect your sight at work, as well as for cycling, hunting and shooting.

Grey smoke lenses feature a great durability offering 12% to 14% light transmittance depending on the type of frame used and filter out 100 % of UV radiation. They reduce to eliminate glaring reflections and do not distort colours. This makes them ideal for bright to dazzling light conditions. Smoke lenses are suitable for the beach and practically any outdoor activities.

Replaceable lenses can be bought separately (clear, grey smoke, orange / light rust), they are easy to replace and adjust to the given visibility conditions.
