Arguing about which part of a firearm is the most important is probably a bit pointless – a firearm only works if all its individual parts are working. On the other hand, it is possible to say that triggers and trigger mechanisms are also among the most important components of a weapon.
A trigger can be defined as a lever that activates the firing mechanism, which, as a result, sets the charge in the chamber in motion and then leaves the weapon through the muzzle. The advantage is that the more common the weapon, the more types of spare triggers you can buy for it. That way, you don't have to rely exclusively on the trigger supplied with the given weapon by its manufacturer, which may not suit you completely. Because every shooter has different needs.
Here you can find spare and exchangeable triggers and trigger mechanisms for commonly used weapons of brands such as Glock or Česká zbrojovka. And then we also have triggers for the AR-15 platform. Rigad.com offers triggers and trigger mechanisms for selected short and long guns. There are also "aftermarket" triggers that are adapted to the needs of different shooters, or were developed by the manufacturer based on feedback from users of the given weapon model.
With aftermarket triggers (but also with specific ones that are brought to the market directly by the producers of the given weapon), the designers pay particular attention to their consistent functioning. Some triggers have a flat surface for the index finger of the dominant hand, which not only significantly changes the "feeling" during the shooting itself, but can also reduce the weight of the entire mechanism. Some of the triggers we offer are sold as part of a complex trigger mechanism including the trigger rod and the trigger housing.
Some of the triggers in our range also have the advantage that these models retain the safety features of the original triggers and all safety locks thus remain unchanged (even when the trigger resistance is reduced). And you don't even need to visit a specialized gunsmith service to replace some triggers. It is an intuitive process that you can often do yourself at home.
