SOG® Escape Folding Knife - Black

The Escape is a compact knife with combined blade suitable for a wide range of outdoor users and can be clipped to belt or to the edge of the pants pocket. In addition, the Escape features an integrated line cutter in the handle, ideal for cutting cords and ropes, seat belts and the like. At the end of the knife there is a spike for breaking glass, including the safety one.

High-end steel and the best aluminum

The 86 mm long spear point blade shape is made of stainless steel 9Cr18MoV. The steel exhibits a relatively high hardness and a partially jagged blade is great for cutting fibrous materials. When opening the knife, the user is helped by double thorn. After opening, the blade is secured with a simple safety lock against unwanted closing. The knife strongstrongcarries a rough anti-slip texture strong>strong>strong>strong>strong made of aluminium 6061 T6. The ridges on the back of the blade, at the back of the triangular protrusion and on the back of the handle form a support surface through which you can apply the necessary pressure to the blade when working, and guide the knife with your thumb or forefinger or palm. All the mentioned safety features, along with the excellent coating material and simple handle guard provide grip assurance and safe knife work.
