SOG® Escape Folding Knife

The Escape is a compact knife with combined blade suitable for a wide range of outdoorsy users and can be clipped to the belt or to the edge of the pants pocket. In addition, the Escape has an integrated line cutter in the handle, ideal for cutting cords and ropes, seat belts and the like. At the end of the knife there is a spike for breaking glass, including the safety one.

High-end steel and the best aluminum

The 86 mm long spear point blade is made of stainless steel 9Cr18MoV. Steel exhibits a relatively high hardness and a partially jagged blade is great for cutting of fibrous materials. When opening the knife, the user is helped by double thorn. Once opened, the blade is secured with a simple safeguard against unwanted closing when performing work. The handle is ergonomic, carrying a rough anti-slip texture and the extends downward at the end. The handle measures approximately 122 mm and naturally also indicates the size of the knife in the closed state. It is produced from a solid anodized aluminium 6061 T6. The ridges on the back of the blade of the triangular protrusion and on the back of the handle form a support surface through which we can apply the necessary pressure to the blade when working, and guide the knife with our thumb or forefinger or palm. All the mentioned safety features, along with the excellent coating material and simple handle guard provide grip assurance and safe knife work.

The blade bears the words SOG ESCAPE, the textured words SOG on the handle, and the same words are even moulded on the attachment clip.
