The PGD-ARCH Protection Group Ballistic Helmet is one of the lightest bulletproof helmets on the market! Its low weight, together with perfect functional properties, user comfort and precise innovations, ranks it among the top ballistic equipment. It is a popular helmet widely used by professional military and police forces in Europe and the United States.
The PGD-ARCH helmet is designed so that you can adapt it to your needs as much as possible. It has the option of mounting additional equipment on the rail and the front casing. Installation is possible, for example, with the following equipment elements:
The PGD-ARCH bulletproof helmet provides protection against conventional pistol ammunition and shrapnel. But that's not the only thing it offers. A very important parameter to consider is the degree of energy absorption caused by projectile impact. This affects the risk of brain damage - blunt force trauma. The ARCH ballistic helmet has 50% better absorption of projectile energy and thus higher protection against trauma.
You can see in the picture how much less the deformed area is when hit by a bullet with this helmet compared to standard ballistic helmets available on the market.
A specially developed foam technology that was originally developed for use by NASA for impact protection forms the interior of the PGD-ARCH helmet. PG 10 technology refers to ten memory foam pads that provide not only incredible comfort, but also additional effective protection against brain damage from the energy generated when a projectile is captured. The foam is attached with Velcro and can be easily replaced or removed.
Rain, oil or other liquids have absolutely no effect on the life of the PGD-ARCH helmet. A protective spray is applied around the entire helmet, thanks to which there is no risk of deterioration of ballistic properties or fading of colors. The durability and service life of the helmet are thus significantly higher even in extreme conditions.
The High Cut design of the PGD-ARCH helmet allows the use of protective headphones. The assembly is carried out using side rails.
PGD is an idea you want to stand behind. The Danish manufacturer of ballistic equipment, Protection Group Danmark, takes it as its mission to protect military and police forces to the highest possible extent through its products. The main pillar of PGD is the effort to transfer production back to Europe, minimize imports from China and use only the highest quality materials even at the cost of financial losses. At PGD, they know the value of life and know that in extreme situations it is directly dependent on the quality of the equipment used.
The product is designed and manufactured exclusively for use in security forces (Police, Army, IRS components) or for use by people involved in ensuring public order (Municipal Police, established reserves of the state) or for self-defense. The product is not categorized as PPE, therefore it cannot be used for activities other than those mentioned above, in particular it cannot be used for sports activities or for the performance of security guard activities.
