The Lowa Triangular Brush is an original all-round brush that can remove dust and dirt from leather surfaces. It is mainly intended for shoes. While a brass and nylon brush will remove tougher stains, a rubber brush can restore the matte appearance of the upper.
The brass wire and nylon brush will remove the most stubborn stains. The first of them is mainly used on suede, from which it removes stains and at the same time revives the surface. It is not suitable for nubuck, it would leave scratches on it. A nylon brush, on the other hand, is suitable for suede and nubuck and can remove wax from their surface while simultaneously opening the pore structure of the leather.
You can then use the rubber brush to mattify individual shiny areas on the leather, but its main purpose is the final restoration of the uniform matte appearance of the upper of the shoe after cleaning with one of the above-mentioned brushes. Before using the rubber brush made of raw rubber, it is necessary to remove all wax residues from the surface of the shoe with a nylon brush.
The Lowa triangular brush also includes a hard sanding rubber that works like the previously more commonly used pumice stone. This means that it will remove the most stubborn stains from the shoe surface. For this, it is usually necessary to sand off a thin layer of skin. Because of this, after treatment with sanding rubber, it is necessary to impregnate the surface of the shoes again and then use the raw rubber brush again.
