Gear Aid® Tenacious Repair Adhesive Tape

The Tenacious Repair adhesive tape from the German brand Gear Aid enables the repair of textile clothing and equipment directly in the field. It can repair coated, uncoated and membrane fabrics. You can easily apply the tape almost anywhere and anytime.

A perfectly waterproof solution

The place on which you stick the patch will not be breathable after its application, but it will be perfectly waterproof. This means that you won't get wet on your trip - and if, for example, the jacket or other piece of clothing you're repairing is breathable overall, then one taped spot won't reduce the level of breathability much.

For light to medium weight fabrics

Gear Aid Tenacious Repair Adhesive Tape is perfect for repairing light to medium weight fabrics. It can be, for example, the mentioned jackets, but also sleeping bags, hammocks or even tents. If you want to use the tape for heavier fabrics, the manufacturer recommends combining it with Seam Grip WP or Aquasure FD adhesives/sealants.

Even on technical fabrics

Thanks to the high-strength adhesive used, the adhesive tape can also be used for technical fabrics such as nylon or vinyl. The tape is available in various colors and is designed so that it is as little visible as possible on a given piece of clothing or equipment.

Tape that lasts

This tape is suitable for outdoor use because it will last. It stays stuck regardless of the weather and can even handle rain or washing. It can be washed at least 24 hours after application. It is multi-purpose and requires no sewing or stitching skills or even heat to apply. Just peel off the back of the sticker and apply pressure to the desired surface.
