The Rider hydration pack from Source boasts a low profile. It is specially designed and constructed for a ballistic vest. You can also comfortably carry this hydration pack on your back, similar to a backpack.
This model of hydration pack attaches to the vest using an integrated X-QCA buckle. Unlike other systems, we attach the X-QCA diagonally. A significant advantage becomes apparent as the pack won't come loose even when the water is depleted. Additionally, the X-QCA allows each user to place the pack exactly according to their preference.
Regarding the drinking hose outlets, the Source Rider hydration pack offers four options. Each side of the pack has two openings, providing outlets over the shoulder or under the arm. The pack dries easily thanks to the integrated "D" ring at the bottom and the drainage opening for expelling condensed moisture.
The Source Rider hydration pack offers users patented technologies for even more comfortable drinking. The Storm Valve does not respond to biting but to suction, and compared to bite valves, it has up to 25% higher flow. The Angled Valve is rotatable by 360°, so you can set its ideal orientation toward the mouth. The Cool Weave Cover Tube keeps the water cool and free of bacteria until the last sip.
In addition to the above, this hydration pack also has a patented special closure system called Widepac, which is sliding and airtight. The Dirt Shield mouthpiece cover prevents dirt from entering, and other used technologies include Taste-Free and Glass-Like (does not impart a plastic taste), Bacteria-Free and Grunge-Guard (eliminates bacteria formation), and Care-Free (maintenance-free).
