Atsko Original Beeswax Sno-Seal 200g

Sno-Seal^® is an impregnation from the original bees wax, which protects the leather from rain, sun, snow and salt. Exceptionally resistant to salt and thus prevents the shoe stains. Prevents the water to penetrate the leather because it fills its surface and dries into the form of solid wax. Sno-Seal^® protects the leather also before drying and keeps it flexible and firm even in the driest climatic conditions.

However, thanks to its original composition, it does not penetrate through all layers of the leather. Creams, oils and products from animal fat penetrates all layers of leather, so they will gradually enter all its pores and fill the natural vents in the structure of the material which are meant to insulated and absorb sweat.

Animal fats and oils disrupt and decay the skin. In the tannery, the fats are removed from the leather to keep it in an intact state. So why to put them back then?  Unlike animal fats, SNO-SEAL^® does not decrease, and therefore does not disturb or breaks the leather.

Sno-Seal^® allows you to feel more comfortable in the GORE-TEX^® membrane shoes, etc. It does not affect the GORE-TEX^® membrane function,the membrane does not protect the shoe surface from moisture and other adverse effects.The membrane protects your feet before the moisture penetrated from the outside, but when the boot is moisted with water, the leather can not breathe. The soaked leather then removes heat from the feet, resulting in moisture and coldness.

Sno-Seal^® will not only keep you warm and dry, but will help you resist fatigue. A conventional leather boot can soak up to a half kilogram of water. This means that when walking at a distance of 1 km you must lift an extra 688 kg. Sno-Seal^® keeps the entire shoe dry, warm and light.

Impregnation for leather products, footwear, etc. Recommended for GORE-TEX^®, Sympatex^®, etc.

Method of application: manual application using cloth or sponge 

Usage: approx 15 g per pair of shoes 

Durability: according to frequency, usually several months with the numerous use of the treated product. Experienced Sno-Seal^® users say, impregnation 3 to 4 times a year is enough.
