The world of pistols with a polymer frame has entered a phase that we can see, for example, in the automotive industry. There was almost a uniform unification of shapes, control and safety elements to something that in the world of small arms with a polymer frame resembles just another variant of the legend from Austria.

Fresh wind from the borders of Central and Southern Europe

The designers from the Slovenian Arex probably had a similar feeling, as described above. That's why they sat down to the drawing board and updated the Arex Delta Gen.2 M OR / GO / 9×19 caliber self-loading pistol with a lot of innovations in the field of polymer-framed pistols.

Safety comes first

The Arex Delta Gen.2 M OR / GO is a true double-action pistol with a straight firing pin. By pulling the slide of the weapon, the straight firing pin spring is only partially stretched. This Striker Double Action system is inherently safer than a single action fully cocked straight forward striker.

Smooth and short reset

The implementation of all safety elements of the weapon did not affect the operation of the trigger. Thanks to this feature, smooth operation of the trigger and a short reset are maintained.

Triple Drop Safety

A complex system of safety elements contributes to the safety of the carried Delta Gen.2 self-loading pistol with a cartridge in the cartridge chamber. Since any mechanical safety can fail, the engineers at Arex have added an extended safety system to the Delta Gen.2 X OR / GO pistol, which they call Triple Drop Safety, and includes a trigger safety, firing pin lock, and drop safety.

Visual inspection of the condition of the weapon

The Triple Drop Safety system ensures that the Delta Gen.2 X OR / GO pistol will not trigger on its own under any circumstances. But this is not the only set of measures to contribute to the safety of the carried weapon. In addition, the Delta Gen.2 X OR / GO is also equipped with a cartridge indicator in the chamber on the upper edge of the slide and a cocking indicator, visible on the front of the slide.

Due to its design, the Delta Gen.2 X OR / GO pistol is reliable in all circumstances. It works flawlessly even under the most adverse conditions. The Delta Gen.2 X OR / GO builds on the proven, now almost legendary reliability of Arex Zero 1 pistols and takes it one step higher. The internal extractor, internal slide catch, and quick disassembly system eliminate numerous potential entry points for dirt or foreign objects to enter the firearm.

Excellent grip for any hand size

At Arex, they listened to numerous user comments about the previous model and changed the texture of the handle. Now the Arex Delta Gen.2 X OR / GO has a sandpaper-like dotted texture with smooth edges on all four sides of the handle. This grip design helps with concealed carry and keeps the grip from snagging on clothing. Four interchangeable grip inserts help adjust the grip to each hand.

Extended magwell and more space for accessories

In addition, the extended magazine well, the so-called magwell, helps in the quick exchange of the magazine, the guidance of which is now faster and smoother. In addition, there is now a multi-groove Picatinny rail on the gun frame, which allows for even wider options for the implementation of accessories. The slide is ribbed in the front and rear, the slide catch is double-sided, the magazine release button can be mounted on the left or right side of the handle.

The possibility of mounting a reflex sight

The OR variant is already prepared for the installation of pistol reflex sights, thanks to the included reductions, the range of brands and models that can be mounted on the Delta Gen.2 X OR / GO is incredibly wide. The weapon variant marked M is the designation for the size of the compact weapon.

Special edition for the US market

Special edition pistols Arex Delta Gen. 2 in the OR variant (allowing the installation of a reflex sight) is originally intended for the American market - on the right side of the frame there is a small inscription Global Ordnance.
