If your equipment is damaged anywhere in the field, there is no reason to despair. At least if you have Gear Aid's Aquasure FD glue with you, which comes in a handy 28 g tube. This is intended for example for patchless gluing, and it is also highly flexible.
The urethane-based Aquasure FD adhesive is quite universal, but it is best suited for repairing medium-weight coated fabrics such as Cordura or neoprene. Medium viscosity adhesive forms a continuous layer of polyurethane (PU) rubber after application. It is flexible, but at the same time self-supporting.
After applying the Aquasure FD glue, the bond is perfectly waterproof, so you can easily use it, for example, for patch-free gluing of self-inflating mats and mattresses. If you want to use it for gluing inflatable boats, it is necessary to use a patch. Otherwise, it is possible to replace the missing material with glue in a hole with a diameter of up to 20 mm, and with its help it is also possible to glue seams.
Gear Aid Aquasure FD urethane repair glue adheres perfectly and permanently to the repaired surface and dries. At the same time, it is resistant to abrasion, in short, it resists scratching. And because it hardens into a flexible rubber, it is also flexible. Pack it with you in your backpack and you can use it to repair almost any type of outdoor fabric including neoprene, canvas, rubber, nylon or vinyl.
