AKU Tactical Trekking Slope GTX is a flexible and light shoe for three-season trips and light trekking with a backpack. This model, which has been successful on the Italian market for 30 years, excels in breathability and comfort.
The upper shoe is made of a mixture of suede leather and AKU Air 8000 material. Suede provides durability and protection, while Air 8000 exponentially increases breathability compared to traditional shoes up to 11 times. Beneath it is a fully waterproof Gore-Tex membrane, which provides reliable protection.
The boots have a robust sole designed exclusively for the Slope model by the renowned manufacturer Vibram. A characteristic feature of this sole is the variously shaped triangular lugs, pointing in all directions. This pattern ensures excellent grip in every direction and terrain, including wet grass.
This technology was created by a unique combination of layers forming the lower part of the shoe. So the so-called lasts, insoles, midsoles and soles. The load is evenly distributed over the individual parts of the foot at each stage of the step. Elica ensures anatomical fit, better stability, even weight distribution on the sole of the shoe and reduces pressure points. This contributes to a safer step and reduces fatigue.
Founded in 1955, AKU is a leading Italian manufacturer specializing in the production of high-quality climbing, hiking and military boots.
