Tactical gear can take many forms. One of the forms also includes abdominal pouches, which are practically placed on the body in such a way that you have immediate access to the contents inside, and at the same time at least partially protect the wearer's abdomen and lower abdomen from injury.
Abdominal pouches and panels are a practical addition to (mostly) tactical vests or plate carriers, which attach to the front platform on the underside. This is a piece of gear that helps you quickly and operationally access other tactical gear items such as knives, weapon optics, first aid kit items, or really anything else in an appropriate size.
Front groin panels with ballistic protection are also a very specialized matter in this category, because as you surely know, ballistic plates in a plate carrier by their very nature only protect a limited area of the body's vital organs.
And it wouldn't be tactical luggage if it didn't at least partially abound with MOLLE/PALS binding, both loops for attaching to the vest itself (although some models use more Velcro), and laser-cut slots for attaching other equipment directly on the abdominal pouch itself.
It goes without saying that high-quality zippers are used (those from the proven Japanese brand YKK are often integrated here) with long pulls that can be grasped even with gloves. Velcro panels on some abdominal pouch models allow the attachment of various patches (e.g. morale patches).
