Thermacell® R-4 48h mosquito repellent refill kit

The Thermacell Insect Repellent System is simply genius. The combination of a gas filling and a pillow with a repellent in a special Thermacell device provides long-term protection against mosquitoes and other annoying insects. Of course, we also offer spare refills that you can buy as a precaution.

Ecological solution

Thermacell repellent systems are an ecological solution, because although they contain the synthetic active ingredient (active substance) D-trans-allethrin, which belongs to the pyrethroid group, it is synthetically adapted to pyrethrin, which is a natural biocide that is contained in the seed pods of the dalmatian chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum cineriaefolium).

Package for 48 hours

The Thermacell R-4 Refill Kit is a pack that effectively repels mosquitoes for 48 hours. The package includes 4 pieces of gas cartridges and 12 pieces of pads with an active substance, while one gas cartridge can power the insect repellent for up to 12 hours. One pad repels effectively for 4 hours.

Even for the whole vacation

The advantage of the Thermacell system is that you do not have to use up the gas fillings and pads with the active substance at once. If you use them for two to three hours a day (for example, when sitting in the evening at the campsite), one package can last you the whole vacation. When not in use for a long time, we recommend removing the unused pillow and storing it in a cool, dry place.
