Ecological solution

Thermacell repellent systems are an ecological solution, because although they contain the synthetic active ingredient (active substance) D-trans-allethrin, which belongs to the pyrethroid group, it is synthetically adapted to pyrethrin, which is a natural biocide that is contained in the seed pods of the dalmatian chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum cineriaefolium).

The Thermacell E-4 Refill Kit is a pack that effectively repels mosquitoes for 48 hours. The package includes 4 pieces of gas cartridges and 12 pieces of pads with an active substance, while one gas cartridge can power the insect repellent for up to 12 hours. One pad repels effectively for 4 hours.

Contains an active agent

E-4 cartridges are essentially the same as R-4. The only difference between the two types lies in the content of the active agent. These cartridges thus provide the same protection against insects as R-4, only at the same time they mask the human smell by "overpowering" it with a different smell, namely the smell of forest soil and mold.
