SOG® Salute Folding Knife

The Salute is a compact knife with combined blade suitable for a wide range of outdoor users as well as for tactical use and can be clipped to belt or to the edge of the pants pocket. The Salute features a great design, but its greatest specialty is the movable thorn to open the blade with one hand. By adjusting its position by scrolling through the oval opening, the user achieves a setting best correlated with the proportions of his hand.

High-end steel and the best aluminum

The 92 mm long clip point blade is made of stainless steel 8Cr13MoV. When opening the knife, a multi-positional double-sided thorn integrated in a small oval hole helps the user. Once opened, the blade is secured with a simple lock against inadvertent closing of the knife while operating the Lockback. The handle is ergonomic, carries a rough anti-slip texture and extends downwards or bevels at the end. The handle measures about 118 mm and naturally also indicates the size of the knife in the closed state. All the mentioned safety features, along with the excellent roofing material and simple handle guard provide grip assurance and safe knife work.
