Snugpak® Softie 6 Twilight sleeping bag

The Softie 6 sleeping bag is another in a series of sleeping bags using the exclusive proprietary insulation of the British brand Snugpak called Softie Premier. In particular, this model will provide you with decent sleeping comfort in the warmer months of the year, and at the same time it will ensure that you do not have to unnecessarily drag too heavy and bulky equipment with you.

Lightweight and compact

Still made in the UK by the way, this sleeping bag is lightweight and compact. After packing it in the compression bag that is included in the package, you can hide it somewhere in the corner of your backpack and maybe even forget that you have it with you. And this despite the fact that on a hike, after a few kilometers of walking, you usually start to feel every extra gram on your back and shoulders.

Premium insulation

For the Softie 6 sleeping bag, Snugpak has used its exclusive, premium Softie Premier insulation, which will keep you warm – of course, to a temperature corresponding to its amount. In this case, the comfort temperature of the sleeping bag is normatively set at 0 °C. The insulation is perfectly complemented by the materials Paratex Light on the inside and Paratex Steelplate on the outside. Their advantage is, for example, excellent moisture drainage to the outside.

Against heat loss

The insulation material of the sleeping bag is not the only measure against the escape of your body heat. Others include, for example, the elimination of stitching in the structure of the sleeping bag, which prevents the formation of cold spots. We also have an elastic hood with a drawstring or high-quality two-way zippers from the Japanese brand YKK with an insulated baffle on the inside.

Another practical equipment

Other practical features of the Snugpak Softie 6 sleeping bag include (as is customary with this series) a tape against zipper jamming, hanging loops in the feet for easier ventilation and drying, and finally the possibility of doubling the sleeping bag for sleeping in pairs after connecting by the zippers (must be used the left and the right sleeping bag option).
