Salomon® Speed Assault 2 Forces Shoes

Number two suggests that there is a predecessor. In this case we are talking about innovative version of Forces Speed Assault shoes from French company Salomon, which is just as lightweight, but offers more comfort and more technical features, whether you are taking them to the jungle, desert or anywhere else. 

Comfort and technical features 

Salomon Forces Speed Assault 2 offers more everyday comfort and more technical features compared to its predecessor. Ultra-light tactical shoes in its modernized variant will help you in any mission. It is designed especially for hot weather, in which thanks to the technologies used offers breathability and durability you expect from tactical and trekking shoes.

Light and quick-drying 

One of the many advantages of Forces Speed Assault 2 is the fact, that they are lightweight and quick-drying. The shoes are made of quick-drying materials and in addition to this they have welded construction.

All-terrain grip 

They are hiking shoes and with them, one of the most important part is outsole. Specifically, this model uses Contagrip outsole with strategic chevron lugs that improving traction on any terrain. 

Ankle support 

These Salomon shoes are lighter than high winter footwear yet the protective mid cut effectively wraps the ankle for extra support and stability when moving fast in loose terrain.

Midsole provides shock attenuation 

Highly effective EVA foam midsole with EnergyCell technology provides shock attenuation. In such solid footwear, the likelihood of twisting the ankle is minimalized. For added comfort there is a soft, breathable textile lining.

Stretch material, special fabric 

The upper material is Lycra, tactical use is highlighted by non-reflective material or Ripstop fabric, that resist tearing, ripping and abrasion. Tight mesh prevents debris from being trapped between your foot and the footbed.

Gusseted tongue 

Salomon Forces Speed Assault 2 tongue is connected to the upper on both sides, preventing debris from entering the shoe, and keeping the tongue centered.

Protection from mud 

Around the base of the foot there is a wrap of leather, synthetic and rubber materials that protects the lateral and medial sides of the foot from the mud. The shoes feature OrthoLite® sockliner, molded to match the contours of your foot. This ergonomic insole provides superior cushioning, breathability and durability, to upgrade the comfort and performance of your shoe.

Quicklace lacing system 

Last but not least, we need to mention Quicklace lacing system - minimalistic and strong lace for one-pull tightening. The shoes can be then easily put on and taken off. Upper construction also features lace pocket that provides easy storage for the lacing system.
