Comprehensive weapon care

The Ripcord Deluxe Cleaning Kit includes a bronze brush and bore mop for the .22 LR caliber, while the short AP brush snaps into a notch in the T-handle for a better grip. A microfiber gun cleaning cloth, on the other hand, does a good job of wiping fingerprints, dirt, and solvent residue from the surface of your gun.

Chemistry for preservation

Otis Defense's Ripcord Deluxe Kit also includes a protective CLP oil (Shooter's Choice FP-10 Lubricant Elite) that significantly reduces the rate of wear on your firearm. It prevents friction and provides protection against water and moisture, but also against acids and alkalis. This is a long-term antioxidant and anti-corrosion protection of the lubricated surface.
