NexTorch® rStar Multi-light tactical helmet light

The rStar Multi-light tactical helmet light from NexTorch utilizes multiple light sources to function while being flexible, lightweight, and compact with some extra features. And it offers drop and water resistance.

Four colors

The NexTorch rStar Multi-light has a main light source equipped with four color modes, namely classic white, red, green and infrared (IR). With the white light, you can easily adjust the brightness (luminous flux) between 8 and 80 lumens, the red and green light facilitate orientation in the dark, and the invisible infrared light in combination with night vision goggles can serve as a tactical advantage.

Benefits of individual modes

White light can restore the original color of objects even in the dark, and the sphere of its use is quite wide. Red light has a long wavelength and low reflectivity, making it ideal for orientation in the dark. Human vision is sensitive to green light, and this light is great for reading maps or identifying bloodstains. And we already talked about IR light above.

IFF beacon

An extra function of this flashlight is an IFF beacon for identification of fellow fighter or enemy (IFF stands for "identification: friend or foe" in English). This solution increases the safety of military personnel in various tactical and combat missions. IFF beacon with an IR light source is a priority, so when you activate it, the main light will turn off (if it was on).You can turn it back on manually.

Easy to control

The NexTorch rStar Multi-light has easy and logical controls. It is equipped with three control elements that work independently. At the top is the main switch, supplemented by a wheel for switching individual light modes of the flashlight. And on the side you will find the IFF beacon slider. All controls are raised and have a non-slip finish, so they can be easily used even with gloves.

Flexible lighting

Thanks to the light head on a flexible extended rod, you can focus the light from the rStar Multi-light exactly according to your ideas and current needs. You can change the angle of the light without having to move the helmet or the body of the flashlight. Overall, the flashlight is also very lightweight and compact, so you can carry it on your helmet for many hours at a time.

Various carrying options

The package of this light from NexTorch includes a wide range of accessories for various carrying options and attachment to helmets and other tactical equipment. Standard configurations include clips for ARC mounting, clips for fastening with a velcro strap (i.e. a strap with a Velcro fastener) and so-called magic stickers.
