Everyday, we are facing obstacles for which we even need prayers sometimes. These include mechanical troubles, for instance when driving a car or riding a bike. At this very moment, we wish we would have at least screwdriver, pliers or small saw. Those are quite specific items, that not everyone carry. And why would we ? They are quite heavy and it is not always convenient to carry pliers or screwdriver, especially when traveling in public traffic. There is much more elegant and efficient solution.

McGiver was a hero for many fans and during his adventures he was using his faithfull friend - multi-functional knife. Such knives are affective and elegant answer to our question. Do we know what it is? Multifunctional knife is a tool, which hides much more than just a knife. There are more variations, it depends on manufacturer and also requests. It reminds of standard folding knife, but heavier and bulkier, sometimes even 2 - 3 times. It is because of the tools it contains, which makes it heavier, but also more useful. 

Screwdriver and corkscrew ? That is just a beginning 

If we leave the handles aside, we get inside of this sophisticated tool. There is usually even more than 10 tools, which we can use more or less often. The standard is flathead and Philips (cross-head) screwdrivers. Then bottle opener,corkscrew and often even scissors. But such a multi-tool will be quite bulky, won´t be ? There is always price. If we want smaller and lighter version, we need to be also aware of less tools. And what about material ? It is important especially when it comes to quality of the product.  

Pay attention to material 

The wrong material used will be behaving little bit like a butter. When we use it, it breaks easily. For example, using bad screwdriver will cause in damaged head, with pliers we can brake the jaws easily, etc. That is not case of our shop. We offer high-quality products at reasonable prices. Despite of this fact, pay attention to material used anyway. Steel must be strong and durable, focus on HRC, which is hardness. Steel used should have HRC 58 and higher. Handles are usually made from plastic, which must be also strong and durable.

There are many multifunctional knives available. From the simply ones that can offer 2 tools only to those more complex ones which have 10, 12 tools. We then need to choose between something lighter or perhaps we are ok even with something heavier in our pockets. After this decision we can focus on specific types that our shop offers. Always remember, that high-quality materials makes high-quality knives. Some additional finishes are important too, but we should always focus on basics.
