The MoG Abseil/Rappel Gloves were developed in collaboration with several tactical abseil training specialists and high altitude instructors. The most important features of these gloves include high palm and finger dexterity, a high level of abrasion resistance and a firm grip. This makes them absolutely perfect for rappelling.
A high level of abrasion resistance is especially important when rappelling, where friction creates a lot of heat. Especially during tactical operations and training for them, the gloves must not let you down in this regard. The split leather palm ensures a perfect grip on both dry and wet ropes and is a great solution to prevent heat build-up while rappelling.
Some places on the gloves are, by their very nature, the most strained. For these places, MoG has developed a reinforced material for its Abseil/Rappel gloves. This is mainly the area of the thumb and then the transition between the thumb and index finger. Higher flexibility is ensured by recesses on the thumb and index finger.
In addition to the mentioned leather, the MoG Abseil/Rappel gloves also use other high-quality materials, which can be found mainly on the upper part of the hand. It is a nylon fabric, stretchable in four directions, which is breathable, and also neoprene padding in the area of the knuckles of the fingers.
In tactical operations today, it is necessary to control communication and touch devices from time to time. This control on the MoG Abseil/Rappel gloves is provided by the conductive leather on the top of the thumb and index finger. A high level of sensitivity is ensured by the slim-fit cut of all fingers, so that there is no problem even when controlling weapons. Superior stitching in the palm area also contributes to dexterity.
The MoG Abseil/Rappel rappelling gloves will also fit perfectly thanks to the Velcro cuff. On the front of the wrist you will find a carabiner loop that makes it easy to attach the gloves to equipment such as tactical belts or plate carriers.
