Padded shoulder straps fits well and the sternum strap helps to distribute the weight evenly throughout the upper body, so even heavy load does not cause problems.

Maxpedition bags/packs are made from high-quality nylon, equipped with YKK^® zippers and have water-resistant coating. They also have large number of pockets and organizers and therefore offer enough of space for mission, camping gear, hydration system, laptop, other electronics as well as CCW and spare magazines.

Maxpedition Gearslinger Sitka is a middle size bag with hydration reservoir storage. Surprisingly spacious interior of Maxpedition Gearslinger Sitka has volume of 15 l and 3 l hydration reservoir storage. But what makes the Maxpedition Gearslinger Sitka really unique, is the possibility of 180 degree rotation, which makes the access to the content much more easier, even without need to take the bag off. Here comes the name (gear + sling). Gearslinger Sitka is a smaller alternative to the basic version of Gearslinger Kodiak.

Maxpedition Gearslinger Sitka has padded and breathable back and shoulder strap, ergonomic design and sternum strap, that can handle high load and provides excellent comfort.

The right side, front pocket and even shoulder strap are equipped with MOLLE / PALS webbing to attach another compatible accessories. It can also be used to attach writing utensils, etc. At the bottom there is a strap to attach sleeping bag or mat.

Spacious main compartment with two-way zipper has several interior pockets – 2 rear open slip pockets, 1 large open slip front pocket with loop field (ideal for compatible holster for CCW wear). The open slip zippered mesh sleeves. On the front exterior there 2 large zippered pockets. The bottom, full clamshell opening compartment, has 1 front open slip interior pocket and one rear open slip pocket. There is also a strap with Keyper carabiner. The top compartment has interior organizer and small open slip pocket. On the top compartment there are two pockets for quick access for example to LED flashlight or another equipment. It also features 1 loop field to attach IDs and compression strap. Left side is equipped with pouch that fits 1 l Nalgene bottle. On the right side there is a MOLLE webbing and 1 D ring. Zippered compartment in the rear to accommodate 3 l hydration reservoir. Drinking hose goes through the opening on the top and elastic loop on the shoulder strap. The interior is equipped with loop field and therefore ideal to attach compatible holster for CCW wear. This compartment is also good for storing of documents or maps.

At the top there is grap handle for comfortable hand carry. It has neoprene non-slip "sleeve" for secure grip. Another handle on the right side would serve well during rotation of the bag.

The bag has an ergonomic padded shoulder strap and concealable sternum strap. The shoulder strap is adapted for wearing on the left shoulder, leaving the right shoulder free for right positioning when shooting. It also allows for 180 degree rotation, which makes the access to the content much more easier even without need to take the bag off. The sternum strap serves mainly for stabilization, when attached to shoulder strap, the bag fits perfectly. The sternum strap has a built in whistle.

Y-compression strap on front with quick-release buckle and straps to reduce volume and also to attach additional compatible items, such as clothing, mat, blanket etc. The compression strap also secures zippers of the main compartment and front pockets.

Maxpedition Gearslinger Sitka is made from abrasion-resistant nylon, closed-cell foam for comfort and breathability.
