Hydra Knives and Hydra Design have teamed up to create the HECATE II knife, which is the result of project born in 2015. The knife is named after the Greek goddess of magic, witchcraft, night, moon, ghosts and necromancy.
Hydra Hecate II is characterized by an aggressive, but at the same time efficient, harpoon style blade. This Fulltang knife is made in Niolox steel and is available both in black and desert tan coating.
Like most of the tactical knives designed by Alessandra De Santis (Hydra Design), also the HECATE II is distinguished by a guard with two triangular holes which, together with the hole at the end of the handle, refers the three-headed Hydra of her logo.
The ergonomic handle is made of G10 material. It has three-dimensional sculpted texture, and offers a firm grip on the tool. The knife comes with a Kydex sheath with belt loop adapter and also features soft rubber loop, for both horizontal and vertical carry.
