Description and parameters
KATADYN® Backcountry product line.
KATADYN® is the most selling microfilter for outdoor activities in the US. The original design was transparent blue, for Europe it was designed in transparent black.
Inside, there is a glass fiber filter filled with activated carbon.
Immerse the inlet hose into the water source, insert the outlet hose into the water container and start pumping.The pump is manual, you can hold the filter in hand leaning against the ground or some pad. Clear drinking water is then delivered from outlet tube to the container.
The filter itself has a protective mesh and a pre-filter that can be easily cleaned - wiping with a cloth. After returning home, flush the filter with clean water.
