Holosun® SCS-320 GR enclosed micro reflex sight

The SCS-320 GR enclosed micro reflex sight from traditional weapon optics manufacturer Holosun is intended for mounting on both short and long guns (up to the recoil equivalent of 9.5×73 (.375 weatherby), without any compromises for the user. It is one of the most advanced reflex sights in Holosun's history, this time adapted to Sig Sauer P320 & DPP OR pistols.

Solar-powered reflex sight

This reflex sight is powered through a small integrated solar panel. Although some Holosun reflex sights have previously offered this feature, the SCS-320 GR model incorporates a new generation of the SOLAR-FAIL-SAFE system, which does not require any additional integrated battery to operate. The internal charging system includes an accumulator that offers long life and works in conjunction with the mentioned solar panel.

Accumulator is rarely used

The integrated accumulator is rarely used in this reflex sight. Under standard lighting conditions, the solar panel alone is sufficient to power the reticle. Only if you were to operate in poor lighting conditions for an extended period would the diode start drawing from the accumulator's capacity. The draw, however, is not significant and is standardized at a microA level. When the accumulator eventually needs replacement after years, it can be done easily and without unnecessary obstacles.

Automatically adjusting reticle

An interesting feature is the reticle, which automatically adjusts its illumination to the ambient light. The reflex sight measures the light intensity itself and adjusts the reticle to the intensity of natural light or even to an attached flashlight. This is done in 12 intensity levels (2 for night vision). Concerning the reticle itself, it is displayed in green, and you can choose between a 2 MOA dot or a 32 MOA circle or a combination of both.

Low-profile base, compact design

An advantage of this enclosed micro reflex sight from Holosun is its low-profile base, ensuring compatibility with fixed sights. Overall, this micro reflex sight is compact, but the manufacturer has made no compromises regarding the screen. It is adequately large (dimensions 1.6cm × 2.28cm) and features aspherical glass with zero image distortion.

Direct mounting for Sig Sauer P320 & DPP OR

Direct mounting is another feature of the Holosun SCS-320 GR micro reflex sight, allowing you to simply mount this reflex sight on the slide of Sig Sauer P320 & DPP OR firearms without any adapters.

Advanced electronics

The reflex sight is equipped with advanced control electronics that can shut off the device (more precisely, its reticle) after some inactivity and then reactivate it through movement. Of course, you can also turn off the reflex sight manually. In that case, it cannot be reactivated by movement – manual reactivation is then required. However, the memory function retains the last used reticle setting.

Innovative control system

This reflex sight is equipped with an innovative control system that includes a boost mode. This is in case you want to override the device's recommended brightness regulation and manually increase the brightness level by several degrees. This increased brightness will function for half an hour, after which it will automatically switch back to save the accumulator. When the accumulator is low, the reticle of the reflex sight will start flashing.

Compatibility with night vision

Most Holosun reflex sights are compatible with night vision systems. Specifically, the SCS reflex sight can automatically set the night vision mode, with two intensity levels, as mentioned earlier.
