MCDU trousers from the Polish company Helikon-Tex are a response to the requirements of users who have high demands on modern combat uniforms. The abbreviation MCDU stands for Modern Combat Duty Uniform, and the trousers of this designation complement the combat shirt of the same name in the manufacturer's portfolio.
The combat pants Helikon-Tex MCDU provide the user with maximum comfort and functionality under any conditions. In the most stressed parts, which are the waist, crotch and the back of the knees, the manufacturer used inserts made of stretch material Versastretch, which dries quickly and has a high level of breathability.
The basis of these combat trousers is NyCo Ripstop material with a Multicam camouflage pattern. This material is half cotton and half nylon and has a natural ripstop finish that makes it more resistant to tearing. And if a crack does occur, thanks to this modification, it does not spread further. The knee area is additionally reinforced with Cordura 500D fabric with holes for protective inserts.
The trousers have a total of 12 practical pockets in which you can easily organize your equipment. Thanks to the long side ventilation holes made of mesh with a zipper, the pants can be even more functional, especially on warm days or during long walks. Additional drawstrings below the knee and at the bottom of the leg make it easier to adjust the pants to your anatomy.
The overall look of the pants was inspired by the Polish paratrooper uniform that was developed in the late 1950s. The trousers retain elements that did not need to be changed, on the contrary, the materials, cut and additional functions are completely modern and meet the requirements for soldiers of the 21st century.
