The Swedish company Fjällräven (which translates to "arctic fox") is today a legendary manufacturer of backpacks, clothing and other outdoor equipment. The result of long-term brand development is also the comfortable Singi Down winter jacket in a minimalist Scandinavian design, which belongs to the clothing line of the same name.
Fjällräven clothing is more sustainable than ever. The Fjällräven Singi Down winter jacket is made from organic cotton and recycled polyester and polyamide. The down used has a traceable origin, which is certainly a pleasant bonus. The manufacturer speaks of "sustainability through longevity," which should be a standard for quality products regardless of the specific item.
This very warm and at the same time durable winter jacket is intended for the coldest days. The long model of classic cut is made from abrasion-resistant patented G-1000 material and highly durable G-1000 HeavyDuty, which was used for the shoulders and back. The jacket is suitable for less demanding activities in freezing temperatures.
The main insulating filling of this jacket is down and goose feathers, which is supplemented in the shoulder area with synthetic insulation that has increased resistance to weather and abrasion. The large hood has faux fur, which can be removed if necessary.
The manufacturer states that this jacket has nine pockets, including chest pockets with snap closures, two lower pockets with top entry, an inside pocket and mesh storage pockets. Thanks to the drawstring at the waist and the bottom hem, you can adjust the jacket to fit your body. The same function is provided by the velcro on the cuffs.
