KA-BAR^® Extreme Fighting is a combat knife with fixed, combo blade. Thanks to high-quality D2 steel and a durable polymer handle it will fulfill even the most demanding tasks.

Versatile helper

The shape of the Extreme Fighting knife is based on models used by members of the United States Marine Corps since World War II. This model has best uses when camping and during other outdoor activities.

Top material

Laser-cut blade is made of high-quality D2 steel. This material is characterized by high hardness and wear resistance. The plain part is suitable for slicing, cutting or splitting. Thanks to the serrated edge you can easily cut fibrous materials such as straps, ropes or parts of vegetation. The tactical appearance of the knife is enhanced by the black coating, which prevents unwanted reflections.

Firm grip 

The anatomically shaped handle with an oval cross-section is made of thermoplastic polymer Kraton G. This plastic is characterized by high adhesion and resistance to different weather conditons. In the front part of the handle you will find a stainless steel finger guard, the back part is ended by a metal butt cap. Thanks to the special surface texture and grooving, the knife does not slip in the hand even when wet.

Leather sheath

The knife comes with a leather sheath. The knife is secured in it with a snap button fastener, so you can safely carry it hanging on a belt.

Little bit of a history 

Legendary knives usually have a quality that surpasses other products. This also applies to KA-BAR knives. The company, founded in New York in 1897, originally produced mainly cutlery. A little later, they started producing hunting knives, which were still sold under the Union brand. At that time, a story began to float around the people about the trapper who killed a bear only with the brand's knife. And so the term Ka-bar was born, which is a corruption of the English "kill a bear".
