Modern design
A number of features have been used in this new generation helmet to increase functionality while ensuring lowest possible weight. According to Jose Rizo-Patron, CEO of Team Wendy, main slogans in its development were functionality, protection and expansion possibilities. In contrast to competing aramid products, composite material consisting of polyethylene, carbon fibers and other components is used on helmet shell.
Top protection
Although Team Wendy helmet is very light thanks to material used, it is not at expense of safety. Its shell provides ballistic resistance III.A according to the latest standard, anti fragment protection and top impact protection according to ACH standards.
Comfortable to wear
The Zorbium foam liner ensures comfortable fit and protects against shocks. Individual settings are made possible by set of 16 movable comfort pads EPIC Air Combat Helmet Liner. These can be freely placed inside helmet and achieve maximum comfort for each user. Set of spare / additional pads - EPIC Combat Pads System - can be purchased separately. Helmet includes adjustable 4 point Team Wendy CAM FIT straps with BOA wheel, which can be easily tightened with one hand.
Mounting points
Team Wendy helmet has aluminum night vision holder on front and 2 EXFIL Ballistic/SL Rail 3.0 System side adapters for mounting other accessories such as flashlights, headphones, etc. The rails are of Magpul MOE Picatinny type and allow all EXFIL accessories to be attached. They also allow installation of EXFIL Ballistic Visor and EXFIL Face Shield. They also include set of shock cord cables for stabilizing night vision mounted at front.
