Adventure Menu® - Zipper Bag

Self-heating is a special way of preparing food on the go, for which you only need a self-heating capsule and a Zipper Bag, i.e. a bag in which the self-heating process takes place. You can think of the Zipper Bag as such a portable oven – and what's more, just like an oven, you can use it repeatedly.

Easy and quick preparation

Preparing Adventure Menu meals is quick and easy. It only takes about 12 to 20 minutes and you can eat. Food preparation takes place completely independently, which means that you no longer have to spend your time on cooking, but on other things – for example, building a tent, exploring the terrain or even exercising.

Chemical reaction

The self-heating principle is also called a flameless chemical heater. You don't have to use any stove or dishes at all. This is a special bag in which you just put the food. It all works on the principle of an exothermic reaction between calcium oxide and water. In the case of the Adventure Menu, this reaction takes place thanks to the Zipper Bag and self-heating capsules.
