The company Acheron Corp specializes in noise suppressors, which are manufactured directly at home in Switzerland. Along with their "supplementary" range, including this blast diverter labeled Surrogate HexaLug.
The blast diverter is generally a device designed to redirect the flame coming out of the muzzle forward. Therefore, it is not a flash suppressor, as it doesn’t suppress the flame. It changes its direction, so fewer shooting byproducts are directed to the sides and more forward.
This device is designed to protect both the shooter and bystanders from the pressure of the shot. And if the shooter is lying on the ground, the blast diverter can simultaneously reduce dust swirling. The blast diverter was designed, manufactured, surface-treated and assembled in Switzerland.
As is customary for the Swiss, this blast diverter is made exclusively from high-quality materials using highly precise manufacturing processes. It is made from bar stock (stainless steel), machined on CNC machines and laser welded. It is subsequently treated with a Cerakote finish. The robust design allows for use even in extremely demanding conditions.
HexaLug is a revolutionary mounting method for noise suppressors or blast diverters that Acheron Corp has patented. It is a quick-release mounting system that doesn’t use any levers or tools, yet is highly efficient and fast, even when used with gloves. This blast redirecting device is compatible with all versions of HexaLug muzzle devices except XL.
